Holidays, Parties and Living a Lovely Life

Last post - "I'll blog soon!"
One month later - "bollocks I haven't blogged in ages."
Whatever, you all know how I am.

I have been very, very busy since school finished and now, I shall tell you, my little chummies, all about it. So sit back, relax, prepare to be enthralled.

If there is something you must know about me it is that I am a very angry person. I get annoyed very easily and often use grotesque language and use my imagination to show just how annoyed I am. That being said - I do not cope well with confrontation. The night after my A Levels finished I attended a party where I was confronted as my friend (accidentally it seems) dropped me in the shit.. Even though there was no shit to drop me in. It was a confusing situation, especially with the fair amount if alcohol I had consumed. The party itself was lovely, it was a summer's evening and I was happily buying drinks as I am now 18 but the confrontation was not the enjoyable part. Girls, though can often be so catty, can also be so caring when you're crying; very appreciated at the time. The next day I hopped on a train to Belper and attended my best-English-Friend's 17th birthday - also called Elizabeth. Holy mother of god it was a good night. It started off being incredibly frightening as I know none of her friends but all of them were so welcoming and spoke to me as if they'd always known me. I did roly-polys on the landing with a girl I'd hardly spoken too; told a boy I thought he was a prick (wtf kind of name is 'Rudi' anyway?!) and met a boy who was possibly the funniest person there. I am now extremely excited to go to YNOT festival with Lizzie and see Frank Turner and The Fratellis and have a jolly good time.

I've been very lucky and have been away in the South of France for ten days. It's so so beautiful there and so so sunny. I tan very easily. Literally, I can change ethnicity in a number of days. I also read a number of books and rekindled my love for Jodi Piccoult. Sigh, that woman does things to me.

My addictive personality is still around, currently it's television series. I have finished Being Human (grazi to Kathryn for lending me the boxset - check her out at thequeerattic.blogspot.co.uk) If any one wants a good series to watch I highly recommend Being Human. It's about a vampire, a werewolf and ghost living together and how they tackle trying to fit into human society, especially when the past catches up on them and their nightmares become reality.. I should definitely be someone who does tv reviews. I am now onto a different series. However I don't want anyone to really know what I'm watching because, well, I'm afraid of spoilers. Not everyone is like River Song and unlike the Doctor, I don't want to know what's going to happen in the future.

So the rest of my holidays will be spent making cakes, cleaning the house, watching telly and reading books. Not particularly character building, but idyllic enough. I plan to become a hermit and I'm rather happy with that prospect. As not much is happening, I don't know what I'm going to blog about. The highlight of today was finishing the first series of what-I'm-watching and going to Spar in my pyjamas (I haven't gotten dressed today.) I don't know if I'll get bored and blog more or if I'll have nothing to blog about so blog less. I might blog about how I find the "Wreck This Journal" book as I have incredible OCD and the thought of tearing and dampening and ruining a book gives me shivers. I just don't know. All I know is that I'm contented. That I don't have anything to do. That I'm enjoying life one day at a time.

It's a way each one of us should live.
