It's official, I have an addictive personality.
Not as in, people get addicted to me (this actually may be the case but I haven't realised it, I have yet to be called anyone's "personal brand of heroin" anyway.) I just mean, once I like something.. I love it. And then I'm on it all the time. Last time I blogged it was The Hunt - the app is still great, I just have no money at the moment - right now it's youtubers.
I understand that I am VERY late to the party on this one. Don't misinterpret, I've always watched YouTube. Began with charlieissocoollike, found Zoella, Jacksgap and now SprinkleofGlitter but originally I wasn't fascinated by it all, it was just a past time.
But NOW I love YouTube! Especially Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter! I love their vlogs, I love the beauty products they find, I love that I can sit on my phone and be like "yes I feel this way too!" I don't know, there's something so very comforting watching someone's day to day life and viewers must be very appreciative that these lovely people allow us to see like, 70/80% of their lives.
So yep, I love YouTube, who'd have thought.
Also there's another thing that makes me even later to the party.. The party is probably finished by now I imagine. Realised that if I put hashtags at the end of my blogs people may read them more. Same with how people find pictures on Instagram and so on. I am extremely slow on the uptake, I like to think its what makes me so loveable? (Probably not, I'm just silly.)
Even though I am essentially, skint broke. Not a penny to my name. No-Money-Liz (good nickname making-up there, pat on the back to me.) I have quite been enjoying buying small beauty products. Most recently I have treated myself to the Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner - I realised that I just use my mum's Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner usually and as my hair is not coloured, it wasn't really doing any special effects that it's supposed to (I.e protecting coloured hair.) I'd heard great things about Aussie and my friend's hair is gorgeously soft and she uses it so I thought "why not" and bought it. Haven't actually used it yet but it smells AMAZING. I also splurged (that's why I have no money) on the Burt's Bees Summer Kiss grab bag. It came with Body Lotion and hand creams and lipsticks and all things lovely. I am a big fan of bee products (the insect, buzz buzz etc) because I just think it does wonders for my skin and I just enjoy using organic products. Don't get me wrong, they don't all smell absolutely amazeballs but I still like them - and I think they smell lovely just don't quite have the wow factor. Also bought No 7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Highland Mist (closest I'm ever going to get to Scotland, let's be honest) and No7 Precise Liquid Eyeliner in Black. THE EXCITEMENT!
(I was going to insert pictures of these buys here but Google+ won't allow so go to Instagram and @c0mmonperson and they are there. Or just go out and buy them, then you can gaze at them to your heart's delight.)
Exams are going well. We've had History and English so far. I wasn't worried for history because I had accepted my fate of failing but it turned out that we had a lovely paper that was dead easy so actually, may have secured a B (fingers crossed, touch wood.) English I was bricking it for. I thought I was going to spew before hand or plunge my pen into my jugular so I didn't have to do it.. Delightful images for you there. But yeah, it was good actually. Finished both essays quite happily so joyous times all round. I only have two R.E exams left and music now so I'm excited for them to finish and let the good times roll!
So, so much is happening after my exams finish and over summer that I really want to tell you about but I feel this has been quite a long post as it is so I'll sign off. Have no fear, I shall blog soon and tell you all about it! Don't let the excitement of that invade your knicker regions mind you..
For all doing exams - good luck! - you probably don't need it but it won't go amiss. Remember, revision is key, you have the rest of your lives to party hard. Don't screw it up now.
Muchos love *blows kisses*
