I have just looked at my blog views and I have had 2438 views on this blog! That is incredible and very strange as I only have two followers so clearly I have hundreds of stalkers. To all you stalkers, cheers for reading my blog and possibly getting very annoyed when I don't blog for months on end (I.e, the recent months of non blogging.)
These past few months have been simply wonderful. They have had their ups and downs but in the end, everything has come up roses. Or pushed up roses. Or however the saying goes, it has done/been just that. I have had the odd breakdown and experienced my first panic attack (the excitement was real) over flute as my flute grade 8 and A Level practical were in a week of each other and my playing was not top notch. But the rosy side is that I managed to achieve a merit at Grade 8, even though I did tell the examiner that if he felt the urge to laugh as I did the aural (singing, ugh) part of the exam, that was fine. He didn't laugh bless him, I imagine it was quite difficult not to. No idea how well I've done in the A Level but let's hope it went just as well, no harm in being positive ey.
I just made a carrot cake and forgot about it and nearly burnt it. But fortunately I didn't so go me.
In September (if I get the grades) I will be going to Royal Holloway in Egham to study English Literature so yano, if you bump into me be sure to buy me a drink. Also, if you're reading this and you think that there are some necessities that I need to take to university with me that I may well forget (nearly wrote 'way mell' then, that would've been funny) or you've seen something really cute that I could have in my uni room, please tell me because I'm really excited to put stuff in my room and make it cosy. You can also tweet me at @c0mmonperson (or just follow me which is great as well.)
If I don't get the grades however I will be staying at home and getting a job and Mum says that I am allowed to get a guinea pig if that happens so really, everything has a silver lining. I love guinea pigs. I've wanted one since for ever but ended up getting hamsters which were small and fast and I couldn't hold them and they were a bit of a let down. However their names were Galileo and Mr Bumble, which you have to admit are pretty incredible/unique names for guinea pigs. Credit to my sister for that one.
What else am I up to. Hmmm.
I have a new pair of glasses which I am enjoying wearing immensely even though I now own contacts. You can see these glasses on my Instagram - c0mmonperson (cheeky plug for you.) They are the common 'nerd' glasses that everyone seems to be sporting recently, however mine are not black but pink which is something different for me. But stepping out of your comfort zone is a good thing and it's good to start small. Also I am starting to try and do new things/wear new things/try new things out as I feel as though I am getting stuck in a rut and must expand my horizons and so on.
I am still with my boyfriend to let you all know (I'm sure you've been waiting with bated breath.) We're incredibly happy and I'm so in love with him; so much that I even buy him crème eggs. Which I only share/buy for people I love very much. Which includes Kathryn, Django.
Sometimes I look a things and think "that's uncool." Recently it's been people bailing out of big plans at the last minute for reasons that they could have overcome. Mainly I feel with the whole "I have no money" scenario that it's bollocks. Fair enough if only made plans the day before but when there has literally been weeks in advance, there should be better money management. Especially for a birthday party/meal/whatever. That's uncool guys.
That's quite enough from me.
Just took my cake out of the oven and it looks b-e-a-utiful, I am a baking goddess.
Toodle pip, take care, you're all wonderful *blows kiss*
